Are there ads on this page? I have no idea, since Privoxy protects me from that garbage.
You know, it occurs to me that the Chinese government's "Great Firewall" would be viewed more favorably in the world community if they used it to filter outbound SMTP from China's millions-upon-millions of compromised zombie Windows boxes. I'm no fan of oppressive censorship regimes, but I'm far less a fan of irresponsible system administration.
What story from your wild-and-crazy youth would nobody believe about you today?
Most of the stories of my youth involve me being too dumb to figure out what girls were hinting at, and thus are all too believable. Despite being intensely interested in them, I was really, fantastically bad at interacting with them. Come to think of it, this is probably true -- to a lesser extent, I'd like to hope -- to this day.
There is next to no chance whatsoever that I'll put anything here until this site works with Safari or OmniWeb. At the moment it doesn't -- it's impossible to write posts, edit them, configure weblog look-and-feel, use the Flickr integration, or use the collections tools -- and Firefox on OSX is just too slow in the UI department to put up with for just one site. I realize the fault is mine for favoring a browser that is missing a large number of features popular with web developers these days, but, hey, I like a simple web.
Hopefully the people that run this thing will expose some kind of API, so that composition can be done outside of the browser.
(Edited to add even more things to the list of stuff that doesn't work in Safari... sigh.)
